Pump Trip Event on a Potable Water Pipeline

Model of single pipeline:

Pumping station at the start of the line with a Surge Vessel 1.5km and Air Valves at 3.7km & 9.5km.

Simulation of Power Failure at the Pumping Station:

Surge Vessel provides some attenuation of pressure but it is too small and so the air valves open. 1 minute 20 seconds after power failure closure of the Air Valve at 3.7km leads to further pressure surges.
