We have a number of specialist, purpose built, loggers which can simultaneously record pressures on 8 channels at a frequency of 50Hz (50 readings per second). There is sufficient data storage for several weeks of uninterrupted logging with a GPRS uplink to the office so any operational changes can be rapidly identified.
The equipment has been used extensively in the water, oil and nuclear industries and has very high accuracy levels. This has enabled us to identify the cause of high pressures and pipe movement problems on a range of different systems. It was then possible to propose modifications to ensure the safe operation of the system in the future.
